What if you’re the world’s biggest grocery store and you’ve made it everywhere except New York City? Walmart says it wants to help urbanites— including New Yorkers—to “Save money, live better” with its infamously low prices, even getting support from First Lady Michelle Obama. But not everyone is buying it, most notably workers and unions who fear a reduction in wages. On Feb. 29th at 6:30 PM, we’ll be in attendance with Wal-Mart Free NYC for a conversation on the good and bad the company has to offer with leading thinkers on business, food and the local economy.
